UNICEF assists in conducting trainings for those willing to take child into family

With the support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, 170 candidates for foster parents, guardians, adoptive parents and foster carers have undergone a two-week training to prepare and take a child into a family in a short time.
The training was held under the new state program on the basis of regional centers of social services in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Rivne, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions.
The candidates were accompanied by 33 trainers, 21 practical psychologists, representatives of NGOs, as well as experts from the International Charitable Organization Partnership for Every Child.
