Yulia Svyrydenko: Entrepreneurs submit 2,700 applications for Energy Assistance for Sole Proprietors in first day

In the first day, entrepreneurs have already submitted 2,700 applications for Energy Assistance for Sole Proprietors. A further more than 9,000 applications are currently being processed. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

“Sole proprietors in groups 2–3 who operate in socially important sectors and provide people with medicines, food and other basic services can receive a one-off non-repayable financial grant of up to UAH 15,000. The programme is aimed at supporting small businesses to ensure uninterrupted operations during periods of power outages,” said the Head of Government.

The funds can be used to purchase or repair generators and other power equipment, fuel for generators, or pay for electricity for autonomous operation during outages.
