Yulia Svyrydenko: Veterans and the families of fallen heroes will be free to take out a preferential eOselia mortgage at 3%
Veterans and the families of fallen heroes will be eligble for obtaining a preferential eOselia mortgage at 3%. The state will subsidise the interest rate up to 3% for the first 10 years, and up to 6% from the 11th year onwards. The changes will come into effect in a month’s time. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.
According to her, the Government is setting new standards for living space for all borrowers:
- for flats: 52.5 m² for a single person; 73.5 m² for a family of two or three people; an additional 21 m² for each subsequent family member, starting from the fourth, but not exceeding 115.5 m²;
- for detached houses: 62.5 m² for one person; 83.5 m² for a family of two or three people; an additional 21 m² for each subsequent family member, but not exceeding 125.5 m².
“We will continue to improve the terms of the programmes for our defenders, veterans and their families,” assured the Head of Government.
