Yulia Svyrydenko: Applications for UAH 20,000 supplement for emergency restoration workers now open in Diia

Applications opened today in Diia for the UAH 20,000 monthly supplement for workers in emergency restoration teams dealing with the consequences of russian attacks. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

“More than 40,000 specialists are currently involved in these works nationwide – energy workers, heating engineers, gas workers, water supply and sewerage company employees, communal services staff, and railway personnel. These are the teams that go out to damaged sites and restore critical systems after attacks,” noted the Head of Government. “The UAH 20,000 will be paid for each month of participation in restoration work during January–March 2026. The first payments will be credited by the end of this month.”

The Government has made the procedure as simple as possible:

• Enterprises submit lists via the Diia portal from the 6th to the 15th of the following month – employees do not need to apply themselves;
• Employees will receive notification through Diia after 16 February confirming inclusion; they can also check with their employer;
• No need to open a new account – funds will be credited to the employee’s existing bank account.
