Yulia Svyrydenko: Decision adopted to establish annual Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Award for energy sector employees

The Government has adopted a decision to establish an annual Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Award for energy sector employees. The decision provides for the annual awarding of up to 50 prizes of UAH 200,000 each. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

"People who work around the clock, despite the cold and snow, restore networks after shelling and provide cities and communities with light and heat, often risking their own lives, deserve the highest recognition and distinction," the Head of Government emphasised.

According to her, the award is financed from the State Budget. It is to become an annual state award for professionalism and dedicated work in the energy sector.

"This is an additional expression of gratitude from the state, along with the monthly bonuses for repair crews that we introduced at the beginning of the year. Power engineers are our superheroes. Thank you!" the Prime Minister concluded.
