The Government continues to provide systematic support to Ukrainian producers in the agricultural sector. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to her, the Cabinet of Ministers is introducing a procedure and mechanism for identifying areas of high-risk farming, allowing for more targeted state support for agricultural producers working in adverse conditions.

Areas of high-risk farming will be identified based on two key criteria:

• Climatic conditions — a critical level of productive moisture in the soil, which must be confirmed by laboratory tests.

• Consequences of hostilities — if land plots are located near the border with an aggressor state or the contact line, or are contaminated with explosive objects.

To receive support, agricultural producers must be registered in the State Agricultural Register and submit an application for the relevant land plots via the electronic office by July 1. If a risk is identified due to a lack of moisture, a laboratory report must be attached.

Lists of such lands will be compiled by regional military administrations, and final approval will be given by the Ministry of Economy, Enviornment ad Agriculture of Ukraine by August 31.

"For areas affected by hostilities, the decision will be made automatically based on data from state registries, without the need to provide additional documentation.

Once the lists of lands have been approved, agricultural producers working in high-risk farming areas will be eligible for state support," said the Head of Government.
