Yulia Svyrydenko: Government allots UAH 281.3 million for extra payments to critical infrastructure workers
We continue to support those who restore critical infrastructure day after day following russian attacks. More than 14,000 workers in repair and restoration crews will receive extra payments for February. The funds will be transferred to energy, utility, gas, and railway workers. The bonus amounts to UAH 20,000. The Government has allocated UAH 281.3 million for this purpose. Similar payments are also planned for March. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Head of Government noted that companies would transfer these funds directly to the bank accounts of employees involved in emergency repair and restoration activities.
The Prime Minister expressed her gratitude to each and every person who, following russian strikes, is promptly restoring damaged infrastructure and ensuring the resilience of our communities and the country. During the winter, this work took place under particularly difficult conditions, and it continues amid daily enemy attacks.
