The Government is promptly addressing the consequences of russia's cynical shelling of the main bridge connecting Odesa and Izmail, as announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyryrdenko.

"First and foremost, we ensure the maximum possible alternative transport links connecting different parts of the Odesa region. All relevant services are involved in this work. We coordinate our actions with international partners. The region is provided with all necessary resources to maintain humanitarian stability," emphasised the Head of Government.

According to Yulia Svyryrdenko, there will be no price fluctuations, in particular, no increase in fuel prices. "We ensure the stable operation of banking and payment systems," noted the Prime Minister.

Separately, Yulia Svyryrdenko stressed that work was underway to simplify passenger transport conditions, primarily bus services, while expanding the capabilities of rail transport. Particular attention is paid to conditions for the continuous operation of businesses.

Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba has been appointed responsible for coordinating all relevant actions within the Government.
