Yulia Svyrydenko: Nearly 1,000 more families to receive compensation for war-destroyed housing
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced that approximately 1,000 additional families will receive compensation for housing destroyed due to the war.
“The Government has allocated UAH 1.6 billion to the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development for the eVidnovlennia programme to help families who lost their homes due to the war regain a safe living space. Through this programme, people will be able to acquire their own housing and return to normal life,” said Yulia Svyrydenko.
Of this amount, nearly UAH 1.3 billion will be directed towards housing certificates for purchasing new homes to replace those destroyed, benefiting 839 individuals. An additional UAH 335 million will support the reconstruction of homes on owned land for 152 families.
The eVidnovlennia programme has been operational for over two years and has assisted nearly 120,000 Ukrainians in repairing, building, or purchasing new housing.
