Yuliia Svyrydenko chaired the first session of the newly appointed Cabinet of Ministers
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko chaired the first meeting of the new Government, which had been appointed by the Verkhovna Rada on 17 July 2025. The session was summoned immediately after the parliamentary vote.
"Each minister must define a specific action plan as soon as possible. No abstractions. These plans will be presented publicly, discussed with the relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada, and then regular reporting will follow. We have to get to a fast pace," Yuliia Svyrydenko stressed.
The Prime Minister noted that she had a positive experience of cooperation with the Economic Committee and expressed her belief that ‘the same constructive interaction is possible in other areas’.
At the same time, Yuliia Svyrydenko pointed out that the new Government has one of the smallest number of ministers in history.
"This is proof that we have set a course to reduce the apparatus. Let's get to work," the Head of Government concluded.
