Yulia Svyrydenko: Competent authorities, in synergy with the State Emergency Service, must prepare for possible spring floods

Today, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the responsible authorities, together with the State Emergency Service, were instructed to prepare all necessary resources to cope with and overcome the consequences of floods and high waters expected this spring. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

“The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture together with the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development, the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the State Emergency Service, have to come up with proposals to support people and businesses that may be affected by floods and high water levels in the spring of 2026," Yulia Svyrydenko said.
