Yulia Svyrydenko: First payments of UAH 6,500 for vulnerable groups of citizens have begun
The first payments of UAH 6,500 in aid for vulnerable groups of citizens have commenced. Some banks are still processing payments. A total of 323,443 people have already applied for this assistance. Applications can be submitted until 17 December via Diia or at a Pension Fund office. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
The programme is designed for people who are most in need of support: children in care or under guardianship; children with disabilities who are raised in family-type children's homes and foster families; IDP children receiving living allowances; children from low-income families; people with Group I disabilities among IDPs; single pensioners with a care allowance.
"The funds can be spent on medicines, clothing, and footwear within six months of receipt," said the Head of Government.
