Yulia Svyrydenko discussed the development of military chaplaincy and social projects with representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko met with representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.

Since the start of the full-scale war, many religious communities have been helping people, volunteering, and supporting those who need it most. The Head of the Government expressed gratitude for the support of our military, veterans, their families, and all Ukrainians during this difficult time.

“We discussed further cooperation between the state and religious organizations. Among the important topics were the development of military chaplaincy, social projects for communities, support for the institution of the family, and strengthening Ukraine’s voice in the world. We are united by a common goal—supporting people and bringing a just peace closer for Ukraine,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.

We also discussed the challenges posed by the activities of russian religious structures, which the kremlin uses as a tool for influence and propaganda.

 The Prime Minister emphasized that even in the midst of a full-scale war, Ukraine remains a country where freedom of conscience and the right of everyone to practice their faith are respected.

“We value our cooperation with representatives of all faiths and are ready to continue developing this partnership,” Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized.
