Yulia Svyrydenko met with the newly elected Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine to talk about the company's main goals
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko met with the newly elected Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government discussed the company's key tasks with the members of the Supervisory Board: increasing gas production, raising the Group's capitalization, developing international partnerships, and continuing to fulfill social obligations.
The Prime Minister thanked the company and its employees for their dedicated work, especially during this tough winter.
According to Yulia Svyrydenko, the implementation of the Energy Resilience Plans for Ukraine's regions was discussed separately. “We expect the state-run company to be actively involved in the implementation of these plans, in particular in terms of ensuring uninterrupted gas supplies to communities,” the Prime Minister stressed.
In addition, the participants focused on the importance of maintaining fixed gas prices for the population. “The state will continue to provide appropriate support to people during this difficult period. At the same time, we are consistently moving towards price liberalization for the commercial segment,” Yulia Svyrydenko noted.
