Yulia Svyrydenko discusses progress under the Extended Fund Facility with IMF mission
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held a meeting with a mission of the International Monetary Fund, led by Gavin Gray, which was in Kyiv these days despite russia’s massive attacks.
The parties discussed progress in implementing the programme under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), with a total value of USD 8.1 billion.
According to Yulia Svyrydenko, the Ukrainian side informed the mission about the joint work of the Government and Parliament to implement the programme’s structural benchmarks.
“Next week, we expect a vote on amendments to the 2026 State Budget, which should reflect the key needs of Ukraine’s defence capability, as well as the country’s economic, energy, and social resilience. We must be as prepared as possible for the next winter period,” the Prime Minister stressed.
The parties also welcomed progress in implementing the reforms Ukraine has committed to before its partners and confirmed their readiness to continue de-shadowing the economy and working to improve Ukraine’s investment attractiveness.
