Yulia Svyrydenko discussed with IMF First Deputy Managing Director Dan Katz next steps in cooperation
A meeting of the IMF Executive Board is expected to be held by mid-July to approve the next USD 690 million tranche for Ukraine. This issue was raised during a meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko and IMF First Deputy Managing Director Dan Katz.
The parties also considered the results of the first review under the Extended Fund Facility.
"We also agreed on the next steps in our cooperation. Our shared goal is to build on Ukraine’s macro-financial stability as a foundation for attracting private investment, supporting business growth, and accelerating the country’s large-scale recovery," added Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Prime Minister separately discussed with Dan Katz preparations for the upcoming program reviews as well as implementation of structural reforms that strengthen Ukraine’s financial resilience and create the conditions for sustained economic growth.
