Yulia Svyrydenko: 115,000 citizens have benefited from the national Health Screening programme

A total of 115,000 Ukrainians have taken part in the national Health Screening programme and undergone medical examinations, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced.

“Health Screening helps identify the risks of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and other health conditions at an early stage, making it possible to prevent the development of illnesses and protect people’s health and lives,” the Prime Minister said. “The service is free of charge: after submitting an application, citizens receive UAH 2,000 from the state to cover the examinations. They can undergo screening at public, municipal and private healthcare facilities across Ukraine.”

Yulia Svyrydenko noted that individuals who received funding for Health Screening before 1 May 2026 must complete their examinations and use the funds by 30 June.

“For people aged 40 and over, Health Screening is a simple way to identify risks in time and take care of their health before problems arise,” the Prime Minister said.
