Yulia Svyrydenko awards energy sector workers

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko has awarded energy sector professionals on the occasion of the Day of Power Engineers.

Forty-three employees of Ukrainian energy companies that provide electricity and heat to the whole of Ukraine, working in Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, frontline Sumy, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv, were honoured.

"People are our greatest value. It is engineers, mechanics, machine operators, electric welders, dosimetrists, electricians, drivers, accountants — all of you — who maintain the energy stability of Ukraine's power system," said Yulia Svyrydenko. "Our energy community is a synergy between the older generations of energy professionals who created the foundation of the system and the young specialists who are continuing the work with new technologies and approaches."
