Yulia Svyrydenko: Issues of stabilizing energy supplies throughout Ukraine addressed during a conference call
A daily energy conference call was held, chaired by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
“The focus is on stabilizing energy supplies throughout Ukraine,” said the Head of Government.
According to her, the situation is difficult in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions after the night attack, as well as in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk region after yesterday's shelling.
In the capital, more than 60 teams are working to restore power supply, and restoration work is underway to resume heating.
In Odesa region, energy workers are working to restore power to more than 130,000 customers who were left without electricity. Critical infrastructure facilities have already been connected.
The Prime Minister noted that in view of the forecast of a return of frosts next week, repair crews are doing everything possible to speed up repairs at all energy facilities.
“I have instructed the relevant ministries and heads of regional military administrations to prepare all necessary resources for a rapid response to possible new attacks in conditions of severe cold. If necessary, additional emergency shelters and high-power generators will be deployed,” Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized.
