Yulia Svyrydenko: Over 207 km of anti-drone netting have been installed in Kherson region
In Kherson region, over 207 km of anti-drone protective netting have already been installed along strategically important routes. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister, Yulia Svyrydenko.
“Special attention is being paid to the most challenging routes and the most vulnerable sections of roads connecting communities in the Kherson region, as well as in the regional center as well. Work is ongoing on other sections. These projects are jointly funded by the state and regional budgets,” the Head of Government noted. “Logistics security is one of the key factors in the resilience of the Defense Forces. This is especially true in a region where russian terror against civilians takes the form of a ‘safari’ devoid of any humanity.”
In total, more than 887 km of anti-drone protective nets have been deployed in frontline regions since the beginning of 2026.
In addition, during May and June, nearly 198 km of roads were repaired in areas close to the frontline.
“Every protected kilometer of road means lives saved, safe deliveries to military units, and the evacuation of the wounded,” emphasized the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
