Yulia Svyrydenko: Released energy resource must be redirected to households by 24 December

The Government has set a task to redirect the released energy resource to the needs of the population by 24 December. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

“Today, the Government has tasked everyone involved with ensuring the unconditional fulfilment by 24 December of the decision to redirect the released energy resource (up to 1 GW), obtained as a result of reviewing the list of critical infrastructure facilities, to the needs of the population,” Yulia Svyrydenko said.

According to the Head of Government, this is one of the steps that will help balance the energy system and reduce the number of power outages for people.

“We are also working in other areas, including increasing imports of electricity, restoring generation damaged by enemy attacks, and expanding individual generation,” the Prime Minister noted.
