We must duly honour and preserve the memory of our Defenders who fell in the russia-Ukraine war. This was emphasised by Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Yulia Laputina live on CNN during a working visit to the United States.
“Ukraine continues its fight for independence. We visited the Arlington National Cemetery and met with its leadership. We learned about the history and experience of the United States, and how important it is to honour the memory of our Heroes. We will draw on this experience in the creation of the National Military Memorial Cemetery, which the Ministry for Veterans Affairs will soon begin to build in Kyiv. We must duly honour and preserve the memory of our Defenders who fell in the russia-Ukraine war. The memorial, in particular, will perpetuate the feat and virtues of the courageous Ukrainian people and commemorate the price of our independence in time,” the head of the Ministry for Veterans Affairs said.
Yulia Laputina also expressed gratitude to the American Government and people for their invaluable and comprehensive support of Ukraine since the first days of russia’s full-scale armed aggression.
