Evgeniy Khmara attends Day of the National Flag of Ukraine events and meets with the President of Finland

Ukraine’s Minister of Defence Evgeniy Khmara participated in the official ceremony to raise the National Flag of Ukraine.

Following the official ceremonies, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Finland Alexander Stubb met with representatives of the two countries’ defense industries.

During the event, Ukrainian and Finnish defense companies signed agreements in the presence of Ukraine’s Minister of Defence. The agreements are intended further to advance defense industrial cooperation between Ukraine and Finland and strengthen the capabilities of Ukraine’s defense industry. 

At the defense industry exhibition, Evgeniy Khmara showcased Ukrainian defense technologies to Alexander Stubb. Particular attention was given to modern technological solutions already in use by the Defence Forces of Ukraine that have the potential to be scaled up further.

Evgeniy Khmara also took part in Ukraine’s National Prayer Breakfast.

Ukraine is consistently developing practical partnerships with countries that support our struggle for freedom and independence. Deepening defense cooperation, joint production, and technology exchange are important components of strengthening the Defence Forces and building Ukraine’s long-term resilience.
