As of the first month of 2024, 575 Ukrainian families have received UAH 1 billion in loans under the eOselia programme. Since the start of the programme, 6,900 families have already been granted loans totalling UAH 10.4 billion. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Nadiia Bihun.
"Since the launch of the eOselia programme, 6,900 Ukrainian families have already taken out loans for the purchase of housing worth UAH 10.4 billion. In the first month of this year alone, banks issued mortgage loans worth UAH 1 billion to 575 families. One third of them were obtained on a mass mortgage basis at 7%. Such a loan is available to all Ukrainians who do not own their property or need to improve their living conditions. At the same time, the military, doctors, teachers and scientists can take out a loan under the programme on favourable terms - at 3%," said Nadiia Bihun.

It should be reminded that the affordable lending programme is now available to representatives of certain professions and citizens who do not own housing or want to improve its conditions. For contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, teachers, doctors and scientists, the preferential rate is 3% per annum. For other categories - combatants, veterans, IDPs and other citizens - the mortgage rate is 7%.
The eOselia programme was launched in October 2022. The programme is implemented by the Ministry of Economy jointly with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Ukrfinzhytlo. The partner banks of eOselia are Oschadbank, Privatbank, Ukrgasbank, Globus Bank, Sky Bank, Ukreximbank and Sense Bank.
