The enemy will be unable to either intimidate or break us: German Galushchenko
The enemy has launched the most extensive attack on the Ukrainian energy sector in recent times. Minister of Energy German Galushchenko announced this.
"The goal is not just to damage, but to try again, just like last year, to cause a large-scale failure in the country's power system. Unfortunately, there have been damages to power generation facilities, transmission and distribution systems in various regions. In addition, one of the power lines supplying ZNPP was de-energised due to the shelling," the Minister of Energy said and added that there were blackouts in some regions.
"Power engineers are already working to restore power supply. We are doing everything we can to restore electricity to people as soon as possible. The enemy will be unable to either intimidate or break us. We had proven it last year, and we will prove it now," emphasised German Galushchenko.
