
Government promises help to tackle energy supply situation in Kyiv
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine stands ready to take and implement all necessary decisions to provide Kyiv with energy resources and eliminate the problem of a possible disruption of the heating season, which arose due to the debt accumulation worth more than 729 million hryvnias. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, while responding to a request from the Kyiv City State Administration headed by Vitalii Klytchko.
The Head of the Government stressed that the support of local self-governments by the Cabinet of Ministers is indisputable and he also emphasized the growing opportunities offered by the decentralization reform and budgetary subventions.
"Kyiv has its own specifics needed to be taken into account. We do not have any disputes - we will help. Regarding the issue of heat supply - we kept our promise and together with our government colleagues found support opportunities ", Volodymyr Groysman said.
The Head of the Government gave the relevant instructions first of all, to the Ministry of Finance, to implement all necessary procedures.
