As a result of the war, the medical system suffered tens of billions of hryvnias in losses. Therefore, today Ukraine needs even stronger support from international partners to restore the medical sector. This was stated by the Minister of Health Viktor Liashko during a meeting with the heads of charitable foundations that currently support the medical sector of Ukraine.

"Ukraine has launched a program to rebuild the country, in which the Ministry of Health acts as a coordinator of donor assistance for the development of the healthcare system. Leading European countries and international organizations are ready to join the activities to restore our state. And our main task is to rebuild every hospital, every doctor's office, to make it even better than it was before the war," Viktor Liashko said.

According to the Minister of Health, in the near future, Ukraine will need financial resources and investments in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors.

The primary healthcare sector also needs significant support. In particular, to provide vehicles. In addition, health facilities that survived the attacks of russian terrorists today require additional logistics to provide medical services to the population.

The Ministry of Health voices gratitude to the international partners for their readiness to support the healthcare system in such time of trials.
