On March 4, 2023, at a meeting of the Selection Commission three candidates for the position of Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau were selected, namely Serhii Hupiak, Semen Kryvonos, and Roman Osypchuk, and in accordance with the requirements of Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine”, the Commission made a corresponding submission to the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

These candidates were voted for by 4 out of 6 members of the Selection Commission. Two of them are representatives of international organizations, as stipulated by the competition procedure. The selection of candidates was held online and everyone could observe the transparency of the selection procedure.

Earlier, all candidates were tested for knowledge of the law and general skills, and were interviewed for integrity and competence. In addition, the contestants were profiled by professional psychologists.

Announcing the results of the meeting, Mykola Kucheryavenko, Head of the Commission, noted that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine should select the final winner to take up the position of Director.
