During the meeting, the issue of possible change of quarantine restrictions related to transport and operation of critical infrastructure was raised.

To ensure the implementation of the commission of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, a conference call was held between government representatives and heads of cities and regional state administrations to discuss the implementation of adaptive quarantine measures and the introduction of quarantine restrictions.

The meeting gathered together Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Chernyshov, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleh Nemchinov, Minister of Health Maxym Stepanov and other representatives of the Government.

The parties discussed the importance of maintaining quarantine measures to preserve the health and lives of citizens, and agreed on the need to establish a dialogue with the local authorities in order to effectively implement anti-epidemiological measures.

The issue of a possible change of quarantine restrictions in the "red" zone was also tackled.

Oleh Nemchinov and Maxym Stepanov stressed that such meetings with representatives of the regions are critical to hear about problems on the ground and to coordinate regional and government policies to respond to the challenges.

Representatives of the Government also stressed the need for a clear policy of monitoring the implementation of quarantine restrictions.
