During a working visit to Zaporizhzhia region, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal inspected a renovated residential building that had been partially destroyed by a mortar shell in 2022.
According to the Head of Government, the building has been overhauled with the restoration of load-bearing structures, damaged apartments and entrances repaired.
"All the work has been completed, and the residents will soon get back to their homes," he said.
The Head of Government also visited the reconstructed Centre for the Administrative Services Provision, located in the same building.
"In the restored CASP, city residents will have access to 375 administrative services. It is essential that there is a separate space for the Veteran administrative service, where services will be provided to veterans and their families," said Denys Shmyhal.
According to the Prime Minister, UAH 508.8 million has been allocated to Zaporizhzhia region this year for both the construction and restoration of infrastructure and residential buildings.
"Next year, we will also proceed with the implementation of reconstruction programmes," Denys Shmyhal emphasised and added that the reconstruction of housing and infrastructure facilities is among the top priorities of the recovery programme.
