It is possible to participate in the eRobota grant program without leaving home. And the winners receive the money on their account within two weeks of the decision to provide the grant. Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Tetiana Berezhna spoke about this on the air of the Yedyni Novyny (Single News) National Telethon.

A year ago, the Government launched a number of grant programs to support businesses as part of the eRobota project. Since then, the winners of the programs have already received grants from the state in the amount of UAH 4.5 billion.

According to Tetyana Berezhna, the most popular program is the microgrant program (up to UAH 250,000) Own Business. Under this program, more than 26,000 applications were received, nearly 6,500 winners were selected, and grants worth about UAH 1.3 billion were awarded. The winners will create 15,000 new jobs.

"Over the year, out of UAH 1.3 billion of microgrants received under the Own Business program, our entrepreneurs have already returned more than UAH 336 million in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels. And we can see that the program is operating actively, creating jobs," said Tetiana Berezhna.

The Deputy Minister reminded that since April 10, the Government had launched a grant program for veterans, women veterans and their spouses. Under the program, they can receive funds for business development in the amount of UAH 250,000 to UAH 1 million. To date, there are 41 winners of this program - 20 veterans and 21 spouses of veterans. In total, they have already received UAH 16 million.

The popularity of grant programs among entrepreneurs is largely due to the simplicity and accessibility of participation in these programs. Thus, the Ministry of Economy, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, which also administers the project, made the application process as simple as possible for applicants. The application can be submitted online through the Diia portal (which contains an application form, an example business plan, etc.). An online interview with specialists from the State Employment Service on the specifics of the submitted business plan also takes place.

Today, the leading regions with the highest number of grant program winners are Lviv region, Kyiv city and Rivne region.

As a reminder, the next wave of submission of applications for grants for the development of processing enterprises under the government's eRobota program started on August 1.
