The generators purchased by Medical Procurement of Ukraine for funds raised through the UNITED24 fundraising platform are already being delivered to their destinations. In particular, they are being delivered to medical institutions in Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad and Chernihiv regions.
"We all remember last year's and even this year's blackouts, rolling blackouts, when the occupiers deliberately hit the country's energy infrastructure. That is why we are preparing for winter and force majeure. We continue to provide hospitals and clinics with generators. The basic need for them is covered. They are enough to keep operating rooms, intensive care units and critical medical equipment running smoothly. Additional generators allow us to provide medical care 24/7, connect other medical devices, and cook food if necessary," said Maria Karchevych, Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development.
Earlier this year, the delivery of generators purchased with contributions from UNITED24 donors to medical institutions began. So far, 659 of those have been purchased.
