The Verkhovna Rada has voted in favour of draft laws No. 9275 and No. 9276, which abolish VAT and import duties on drone components for the duration of martial law. 284 and 289 MPs supported the bills respectively.
The Government continues to promote the production of UAVs in Ukraine. After all, drones technologically strengthen our military at the front and allow us to gain an advantage over the enemy.
Thus, the Parliament passed bills that stimulate the production of UAVs in Ukraine and cancelled another blocker. From now on, during the martial law period, importers are exempt from paying import duties and VAT on UAV components - materials, components, equipment units and spare parts. This creates better conditions for the production and repair of UAVs in Ukraine.
Earlier, the Government created a fast track for UAVs and components, which allows for faster imports of military goods to Ukraine.
