On Wednesday, at its extraordinary session, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has supported the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine offered by the newly elected Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine backed the new Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with 277 votes. The following candidatures were approved to compose the new Government:
Vadym Prystaiko as Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine;
Oleh Nemchynov as Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;
Oleksiy Reznikov as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine;
Mykhailo Fedorov as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine;
Arsen Avakov as Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;
Serhiy Bessarab as Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine;
Vadym Huttsait as Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine;
Ilya Yemets as Minister of Health of Ukraine;
Vladyslav Kryklii as Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine;
Maryna Lazebna as Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine;
Denys Maliuska as Minister of Justice of Ukraine;
Ihor Umanskyy as Minister of Finance of Ukraine;
Oleksiy Chernyshov as Minister for Communities and Territories Development.
Apart from that, according to the submission of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Taran was appointed as the Minister of Defense of Ukraine supported by 285 MPs, while Dmytro Kuleba was supported as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine by 288 votes in Parliament.
