“It is necessary to create all necessary conditions to ensure an increased flow of tourists coming to Ukraine. These are definitely services. Road infrastructure, which we are now actively developing. And also safety. That is why a single window for helping tourists is being established to have an opportunity to address any question and get an answer or help,” said Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk.
The single portal will operate both in online and in telephone regime. It will be launched by the fall of 2020. Moreover, local Tourist Information Centers will be established in the regions.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, an agency has been set up, which will, in particular, engage in the implementation of the project.
We remind that the creation of a single tourist portal is envisaged by the Action Program of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. It was approved in September 2019. The document determines key priorities for the Ministries in their activities. Now they have been detailed - for each of the 78 objectives of the Program, a concept and indicators have been published to measure their achievement.
The Government is making its work even more transparent - the document has been put up for discussion before its official approval. Anyone interested in each of the concepts can give feedback.
