During the meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, the participants decided to involve the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs in the pilot project for the implementation of the single electronic ticket.
It should be noted that last week the Government approved a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers developed by the Ministry of Infrastructure, which envisages the implementation of an experiment on the introduction of a single electronic ticket registration service.
Experimental testing of the e-ticket on the transport portal of electronic services e-tranmms.gov.ua starts from Kyiv. Then the SmartTicket system will be tested in Dnipro and Kharkiv.
"The Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs supports the initiative to create a single electronic ticket. This is an important step towards the introduction of unified digital services. The principal condition is that the unified system of transport services should operate taking into account the right of all categories of veterans to preferential travel," said Volodymyr Levchuk, Deputy Minister for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization. He also added that the single e-ticket, which will be introduced as part of the pilot project, will envisage an exchange of information between the systems of the aforesaid Ministries to verify the status of combatants, people with disabilities as a result of war, war veterans, members of the families of victims and those killed in the Revolution of Dignity.
Also during the meeting, Volodymyr Levchuk told about the work of the Ministry of Veterans on the introduction of e-tickets, which will be implemented within the framework of the Unified State Veterans Register and the introduction of the "E-Veteran" service.
The Deputy Minister also said that in the near future the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs will submit to the Government the Procedure for using an electronic display of information contained in certificates issued to war veterans through the mobile application of the Unified State Web Portal of electronic services "Diia" (Action). In the future, the presence of "electronic verification of veteran status" will allow the development and connection of a number of other electronic services, including "SmartTicket".
