The Government has approved a decision to open a special account of the Ministry of Economy for the needs of humanitarian demining. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government session on April 28.

"Humanitarian demining remains our priority. Up to 30% of Ukraine's territory is mined by the enemy. We need to accelerate the clearance of land, especially agricultural land. The action plan for demining is already being implemented," said Denys Shmyhal.

According to the Head of Government, everyone willing will have a chance to transfer money in hryvnia and foreign currency to this special account to finance humanitarian demining.
