Today, September 14, during an extraordinary meeting of the Government, a decision was adopted to ensure the implementation of measures of state financial control over the use of funds formed within the framework of the resource of the State Budget of Ukraine the Coronavirus Response Fund.

The draft order provides for the following:

- The State Audit Service shall ensure the implementation of measures of state financial control over the use of the resource of the Fund;

- relevant spending departments, responsible providers, lower-level budget managers and budget recipients shall ensure the access and proper conditions and provision of all necessary documents to the employees of the State Audit Service, which will facilitate the effective and timely performance of tasks by the Service.

In addition, the transparency and efficiency of the Fund's resource use is one of Ukraine's commitments to the IMF.

Currently, the Ministry of Finance monitors the use of COVID-19 funds on a daily basis. The information is updated weekly on the official website of the Ministry of Finance and is available at the link (Ukrainian version).
