On May 27, 2020, the Government approved the Economic Stimulus Program for overcoming the consequences of the COVID-19 epidemic, subject to its completion.
For the development of this Program there were engaged more than 90 developers, the best think tanks in the country, dozens of business associations and individual companies (including representatives of small and medium-sized businesses). Among those are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs, the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the European Business Association, the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club, the Razumkov Analytical Center, the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the EasyBusiness Analytical Center, DIXI Group, CASE Ukraine Analytical Center and dozens of other entities.
The Program takes into account initiatives in the following areas: access to finance, access to markets, deregulation, modernization and development, access to infrastructure. An important part of the Program will be the systematic and thorough support of domestic producers. The main priority is job creation and payment of taxes in Ukraine.
The program provides for a wide range of support tools: export promotion assistance; available loans, grant programs; expanding the participation of small and medium-sized businesses in public procurement.
