Today, May 26, the Government approved the procedure for using funds for the construction of border inspection posts.

The project budget for 2021 is almost UAH 225 million, of which UAH 75 million from the general fund and UAH 150 million from the special fund of the State Budget of Ukraine.

"Adoption of the resolution will allow us to start construction of modern inspection posts on the state border of Ukraine, which, among other things, is important to strengthen the protection of the domestic market from dangerous or low-quality products," said Deputy Economy Minister Serhii Hlushchenko.

It should be noted that by mid-2022, Ukraine must build 35 border inspection posts on its border, which must fully meet the requirements of the European Union.
