Today, October 4, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated funds to provide financial assistance to victims of the anti-terrorist operation.
Thus, a UAH 9,031,000 resource from the Reserve Fund of the State Budget was allocated to family members of 2 people who had died during the anti-terror operation and 11 people who had become disabled as a result of a wound, shell-shock, mutilation or disease received during the participation in the specified operation.
Funds from the reserve fund are allocated on the basis of lists approved by the Interdepartmental Commission for the Review of Materials on the Recognition of Participants in Combat Operations, which operates on a permanent basis within the Ministry of Veterans.
"We have been taking measures to provide financial support to citizens affected by the anti-terrorist operation and their families. In total, in 2020, the Government has made 9 decisions to provide such assistance in the amount of UAH 142,231,000," said Svitlana Panaiotidi, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
