On March 21, the Government during its regular sitting approved an order on establishment of the Investment Promotion Office UkraineInvest state agency.
According to the order, the permanent advisory body under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Investment Promotion Office (UkraineInvest), becomes a state agency. The key areas of the Office’s activities continue to be attraction foreign direct investments in Ukraine and improvement of the country's image as attractive country for investment.
UkraineInvest has been operating in Ukraine since 2016, aiming to attract investments in Ukraine and to provide investors with objective, real-world information and advice about doing business in the country as well as about the activities in the main sectors of the economy - agribusiness, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, and innovation technology. UkraineInvest contributes to the coordination of the executive authorities' activities in resolving the problems that arise when investing in the Ukrainian economy. Experts of the Office are preparing proposals for the formation, improvement and implementation of Ukraine's investment potential, the development of key investment projects, promotion of the investment environment in Ukraine and the protection of investors' rights. The Office is actively engaged in shaping a regulatory framework for doing business in Ukraine, conducting an expert analysis of the business climate and analyzing burning issues.
