The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established an interdepartmental working group to coordinate the negotiation process with the International Monetary Fund. The relevant decision was made today, October 21, 2020.
The Interdepartmental Working Group is a temporary consultative and advisory body of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which was established to fulfill the obligations of the Ukrainian side under the Stand-By Program.
Yurii Butsa, the Government Commissioner for Public Debt Management, will chair the Interdepartmental Working Group.
In addition, the Group will also include Deputy Minister of Finance for European Integration Yurii Draganchuk, who is the Deputy Chairman of the Group, Adviser to the Minister of Finance Yulia Pashko, and Dmytro Mantsurov, Head of the International Cooperation Department at the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Finance – who is Secretary of the Working Group.
It should be noted that by the end of 2021, Ukraine expects to receive $ 700 million under the current Stand-By Program.
