The Government has directed UAH 380.6 million to the implementation of the Warm Loans program for condominiums. This will provide an opportunity to almost 230 thousand families to get loans. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko told at a Government meeting
"Due to the program’s increase in funding for the condominiums in 2019, another 3,000 families (more than 230 thousand families) will be able to use warm loans, and the total amount of loans that condominiums can attract will reach over UAH 760 million", Hennadii Zubko stressed.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Warm Loans program was used by almost 600 thousand families. At the same time 140 municipal programs providing from 10% to 30% co-financing of energy-saving measures, as well as the IQEnergy program financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development are underway. Also, this year the Energy Efficiency Fund kicked off its work, and the first 15 condominiums are testing the Energy Efficiency Fund's procedures and implementing projects to modernize their homes. In the future, the Energy Efficiency Fund will be able to process about 3000 applications per year.
