In order to promote business development in Ukraine, the Government is introducing a pilot project, thanks to which it will be possible to obtain permits for doing business in one "window" through the Diia portal. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a regular meeting of the Government on August 4.
The Prime Minister noted that now to ensure the full operation of the business it is necessary to go through a number of instances and obtain various permits. Such things, according to him, complicate the work of thousands of entrepreneurs. To simplify passing the procedures, the Cabinet of Ministers supported the decision on the procedure for providing a comprehensive electronic service "e-Entrepreneur".
"Thanks to this, it will be possible to pass a procedure of the state registration of business (registration of a sole proprietorship, LLC), register with the tax office (become a single taxpayer or a VAT payer), or obtain various licenses in the Diia Portal. For instance, for retail or wholesale trade in goods," said the Head of Government.
According to Denys Shmyhal, it is planned to introduce a pilot project within 2 years.
The Prime Minister stressed that digital services reduce the time and resources that businesses spend on interaction with the state.
"The Government has a systemic roadmap for deregulation so that Ukraine can get into TOP-30 of Doing Business rankings. Definitely, this rating is not an end in itself, but it demonstrates the right vector and dynamics of progress to simplify work for businesses. The State Regulatory Service should play one of the main roles in this process at all stages of its work," Denys Shmyhal stressed.
He added that the Government is delegating to the State Regulatory Service the authority to monitor the implementation of the government's plan on deregulating of business activities.
