The document contains a quantitative assessment of the main directions of Ukraine's economic development for the next three years. The relevant resolution, with revision within three days, has been adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on July 29.
The Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture forecasts a GDP increase next year. "The document contains a thorough analysis of economic problems of previous years, the impact of the coronavirus crisis on the economy and development scenarios," said Denys Shmyhal.
The Head of Government added that economic growth in the coming years is planned due to a set of factors. Among those are as follows: industrial development, increasing the share of processing in the agricultural sector, programs to support small and medium-sized businesses, improving the business climate, and privatization.
