  • Government has supported the implementation of a pilot project to introduce an e-ticket on transport, says Vladyslav Kryklii

    Today, July 29, at its meeting, the Government approved a Resolution providing for the implementation of a pilot project to introduce a single e-ticket service on the Transport Portal of electronic services e-transport.gov.ua. This decision will facilitate the provision of convenient and modern digital services for the population in different means of transport on a single resource when planning a trip.

    This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii.

    “Modern transport should be as simple and comfortable for everyone as possible. The ability to purchase e-tickets in various transport makes the service easier for the passenger to use, and the service itself faster. Our ambitious goal is to combine all transport services into one electronic ticket. We are starting a pilot project to introduce an e-ticket in the capital with a single e-ticket for the railway and the subway services. I am grateful to my fellow Government officials for their support of this initiative,” the Minister stressed.

    The pilot project will be implemented by the Sectoral Center for Digitalization and Cybersecurity in cooperation with JSC Ukrzaliznytsia and SkyUp Airlines company. In accordance with the Resolution approved by the Government, it is proposed to endorse the Procedure for project implementation and set a deadline for its implementation until June 30, 2021.
