This year, 1 million 127 thousand households have applied to the social protection authorities with  applications for monetization of part of saved gas resources and almost 21 thousand  families for reimbursement of  electricity savings.

On average the sum of payment makes up about UAH 700 for gas, all depends on the savings of cubic meters of natural gas. Social protection centers in Kyiv and Khmelnytsky region were the first to start monetization of saved resources.

At the beginning of the heating period, anyone who filed a relevant application by September 1 will receive a monetary reward from the Government for "reasonable" energy consumption.

Citizens, who for good reason did not have time to apply to the social security authorities, can still submit an application by  November 1 of this year.

It should be noted that monetization is assigned in case of electricity savings equivalent to the cost of 150 kW and for natural gas - 100 cubic meters.

1 million 755 thousand Ukrainian families received payments for saved  resources last year.
