  • Prime Minister: Government will continue constructive cooperation with the IMF

    The Government will continue prudent fiscal policy and constructive cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and other foreign creditors, says Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

    “Change of the Government means that we want even better and faster reforms in Ukraine. The Government will continue prudent fiscal policy and constructive cooperation with the IMF and other foreign creditors of Ukraine. Achieving long-term well-being of Ukrainian citizens and sustainable economic growth is our common goal,” Denys Shmyhal wrote.

    The Prime Minister stressed that Government is ready for new challenges and will  pursue active policy in implementing reforms and integration with the European Union.

    It should be recalled that on March 5, the first inaugural meeting of the new Government chaired by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal was held, which was devoted to preparatory and technical personnel issues. Also, it was decided to strengthen the operational headquarters to prevent the introduction and spread of COVID-19 on the territory of Ukraine.
