The Government adopted a resolution terminating the Memorandum between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the fight against terrorism, approved in Yalta on July 12, 2012.

Against the background of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, cooperation between special services contravenes the national interests of Ukraine.

The Resolution was drafted in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine "On International Treaties of Ukraine".

The Government will continue to work to bring the legal framework with the Russian Federation in line with the present state of bilateral relations.
